Three reasons patients choose São Paulo for complex dental work

01
Two specialists, 20+ years working as one

Dra. Cristina and Dra. Eloisa have practiced side by side for over 20 years. Complex, multi-stage cases — implants, full-mouth rehabilitation — stay coordinated under one roof.

02
U.S.-trained doctors who consult in English

Both doctors completed specialization courses at leading U.S. universities. Your consultation is with the dentist treating you — never through a translator or an interpreter.

03
Implant treatment, recovery as a destination

Single-tooth implants to full-arch reconstructions — All-on-4, All-on-6, All-on-X — performed with guided surgery. Recovery doubles as a São Paulo stay: culture, cuisine, calm.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

Brazilian dental regulations (CROSP) prohibit clinics from publishing treatment prices publicly. This protects patients from price-led advertising and ensures every quote is based on a real clinical assessment — not a generic price list.Pricing for your case is shared privately during your virtual consultation, after Dra. Cristina and Dra. Eloisa review your records. You then receive a written plan covering procedures, sequence, time in São Paulo, and the corresponding cost — sent securely by email.

What happens if something goes wrong after I return home?

Your care doesn't end when you leave the clinic. Every international patient receives a follow-up schedule that includes remote check-ins by video and direct messaging access to the doctors who treated you.If a concern arises, send photos or a short video through WhatsApp. Dra. Cristina or Dra. Eloisa review it personally and — when in-person care is needed — coordinate with a local dentist in your area, sharing your full clinical records, imaging, and treatment plan so they can step in with full context.

Do I need a visa to visit Brazil for dental work?

Yes. As of April 10, 2025, U.S. passport holders need an electronic visitor visa (e-Visa) to enter Brazil for any short stay, including dental treatment. The application is fully online at brazil.vfsevisa.com — no consulate visit required. The current fee is approximately US$80.90, processing typically takes 5 business days (we recommend applying 3–4 weeks before travel), and the approved e-Visa is valid for up to 10 years with multiple entries of up to 90 days per visit. Our concierge walks you through the application during trip planning.

How does payment work?

Payment terms are detailed in your treatment plan and confirmed privately during your consultation. L'Oris accepts major international payment methods commonly used by visiting patients — including international wire transfer and major credit cards.

Is São Paulo safe?

São Paulo is a city of 22 million people. Like any major global city, safety varies by neighborhood. L'Oris is in Campo Belo — a quiet, residential, well-established neighborhood close to Congonhas Airport, with private security at most commercial buildings, plentiful taxis and rideshare, and the cafés and parks you'd expect in any premium urban district. Our concierge advises which hotels and neighborhoods sit within easy reach of the clinic. Most international patients spend their time between Campo Belo and adjacent neighborhoods like Moema, Itaim Bibi, and Jardins — among the safest in the city.
